Maxime Velthuis is an artist living in The Hague with an art studio in Hoofddorp. As an artist, Maxime loves to explore the world and try to understand and experience her mysteries. Her inspiration is rooted in music, cinema, science, and nature.
She began creating art in 2018 to experience the joy of learning and crafting something new. It has been a way for her to dream and create freely, to be reminded to slow down, to space and time, to wonder, heal, and grow, and to be gentle with her soul. Maxime is an autodidact, which has turned into her greatest treasure and source of joy. Her imaginative paintings are where she can truly express herself.
Through art, we can express the beauty of each moment in life and experience the energy it brings to the world. In her abstract artworks, everything is present, and everything may be. This is what she aims to convey through all of her works.
